Preparing for Graduate School

This 19 video series if for people that are interested in applying to genetic counseling graduate school.  There are 5 modules with with multiple short videos (less than 13 minutes) reviewing various aspects of applying.

1. We start by discussing what genetic counseling is in general
2. Discuss the components of the physical application – course work, advocacy experiences, letters of recommendation.
3. Focus on the writing portion – personal statement and resume including possible rubrics to evaluate these components
4. Interviewing including sample questions and rubrics to evaluate the interview
5. National Matching Service process, timing, and tips on ranking your list
